Affect is usually a verb.

1. To influence someone or something, or cause them to change.

2. To cause a strong emotion, especially sadness (often passive).

Effect is usually a noun.
A change, reaction, or result that is caused by something.

Informal Contractions

Informal contractions are short forms of other words used when speaking casually. They are a little like slang.

For example, "gonna" is a short form of "going to". If "going to" is said very fast, without carefully pronouncing each word, it sounds like "gonna".

They are not used in "correct" speech.
What are you going to do? = Whatcha going to do? = Whatcha gonna do?

Advice and advise

Advice is a noun. This word is not countable. It is a recommendation. It means guidance. It is an opinion that someone offers.

“My teacher’s advice was sound and everyone listened to him.”

You can give someone a 'piece of advice'.

“Let me give you some advice about traveling.”

Advise is a verb. It means "to give advice", “to recommend" or "counsel”. It refers to the act of giving advice.
